Home Business Ideas. So you have this great business idea or service. Perhaps it’s selling a particular product, or you maybe want to have an online marketing site as a blogger, that’s fantastic. However, there are several things to consider before you do so.

Have a Plan
Determine how much money you need to invest to get it going? Do you need to build a new website? Do you need to stock some product to sell?, write down some goals (short- and long-term), do you need to incorporate as an LLC?

Get a Mentor

It is easier to emulate the success of another person before you try to figure it out all on your own. Think about it. You can call and email back strategies and ideas that have been proven that already work so you can stop beating yourself up trying to figure things out on your own. If you blog let’s say, check out some other site and see what they are doing. Get influenced and get those creative juices flowing in your head.

Tap into a System

There are situations where what you are looking to do, might already exist and you can just join it for a reasonable monthly fee, for example:

then marketing now becomes your immediate friend. When you find a prospect to join you in your venture find out the following: Listen very carefully when you speak to a prospect, and see where a person is in their life and then see how you can be of help to them!

Also remember too that what you are doing might not be for everyone so they may never be interested! Sorry that’s the way it is sometimes……just move on! Focus on finding the RIGHT ONES and spend your time and efforts on them! Ask what you can do for THEM and then really listen to see if they are the RIGHT one!
* Find out what they do. What are their hobbies?
* Are they satisfied with their life as it is?
* What would they like to do with their free time?
* How would they like to change their life?
* What’s important to them?
* Where do they want to be in the next 5 years?
* What have they done so far to move closer to their dreams and goals?
* Do they have a vision?

If they do great, if not help them put their vision down on paper. If they keep doing what they are now will they reach their goals? Are they coachable? Are they positive about life? Do they want to do good things to help others too? Do they want to learn and grow or just stay where they are? Are they willing to do what it takes no matter what?

Find out if they have experience in what your are offering in the past and if so, find out all about it. Ask them what their thoughts are about the industry. Were they successful before and why or why not? What do they need to succeed? How can you help? Are they willing to help you, too?

Here are some questions to ask:

*What attracted them to this opportunity or business?
*What sort of business are you looking for?
*Tell them you are looking for ambitious, outgoing, friendly, positive people who want to earn a serious stream of long term income. Does that describe them?
*Do they have experience in direct sales, network marketing, online marketing or have they ever owned a business?
*Ask them if training and support are important to them.
*Are they a team player?
*What is their time table for taking action?
*Do they have a budget in mind to start their business?
*How much time are they willing to commit to their business during the week?
*Are they coachable?
*How do see themselves building their NEW Marketing business?
*WHY do they want to do this? Ask them to give you a list of 10-20 reasons and then help them to develop their vision statement, print it out and read it everyday! Make changes periodically as they grow. Remember to always focus on Believing in your Dreams, because if you do not, do not expect anyone to do so.
