. The are some intangibles in Social Media Strategy, that cause measurable effects in your online marketing patterns. Are you contributing to the value of a brand? Social Media, is the driving thought of the new internet economy. Make sure the site that you have is a site for your target audience.
Go online and see when your audience is spending their amount of time. Then you this will help you create content, and then your audience will communicate with you and you can find out who they are. Make you conversations about things the “they” are interested in. We are being Social, right? We need to keep that conversation going, and begin to build a relationship based on trust, so that in turn they will want to do business with you.
Learn how to create a social media marketing strategy. I highly suggest you start a blog on your industry or interests. It is very important to establish a relationship and determine where your audience hangs out online.Create a forum for feedback. You need to create overall brand awareness and generate leads. We need to bring in new customers in time and help retain your existing customer base, after you develop one. It takes up to 6 months to gain a new customer and seconds to lose one. A known industry marketer, recently lost me after having been mistreated by their practices, enough said, I was sad and surprised by them. Customers don’t expect you to be perfect. You can use Social Media as a point of sale for brand awareness. Branding, is the culture of you. Google, has up to billion lookups every month. You do not make money with Social Media, you make money with people who know, like & trust you. Find people who are looking for what you want to promote. Provide content, don’t just be a commercial. YouTube is the #2 Search Engine in the World, who would of thought. Visual, is a huge part of retention in marketing. Remember the old saying “A picture is worth a thousand words” ?, Imagine what a video is?
Also, write an articles, perhaps on Ezine, go to Squiddo, to get the word out there. Publish videos, chat, add pictures. In addition, go ahead and set up Hubpages, to get cred and visibility in the Social Media Arena. All these things will help you increase familiarity, and when you are a perceived expert you can then go ahead and promote your product of service. The aim of marketing is to know and understand the cutomer so well the product or service fits well and sells itself- Peter Drucker. Since you now have built trust in the marketplace, you can now say that you understand being Social. Remember, whether you market on Youtube,Twitter, FaceBook, Linkedin, etc. Take the time to build this trust since it will not be an overnight process. Trust is like a mirror,once its broken you can never look at it the same way again. Self trust is the first secret of success. In Germany, alone the average Twitter user is 32 yrs. old. YouTube has 51% of users who log on at least once a week. Email use is decreasing and Social is on the rise all over the World. Be yourself, be authentic, be Social and have some fun marketing you.
