There is a certain strategy we must take upon ourselves when trying to come up with good, valuable content to post out in the social media world. The challenge, sometimes getting ideas on how to do so, especially if you get a little bit of writer’s block. Have no fear, some of what I am about to share with you, will definitely help you out, and get those creative juices flowing.

One of the things that I might want to bring to your attention, is also sharing content of others and giving credit where it’s due to the author as well…. simplified, any of your social media content that you put out there as well. Hey, we are all here to help each other out.

Now that you’ve gotten some ideas about creating some new content for yourself. Consider where you might want to determine your ideal content type and mix. Perhaps you might want to use some promotional, inspirational stories. Maybe generate some content via a contest, that would involve giving away incentives for people to share one of your products or videos.

The key is to basically create content of all different types, that will attract the attention of your targeted audience. I always like to create contact that has some educational purpose in it. Studies do show that those types of posts get 38% of Engagement. Source: Rignite.

Look online on different platforms to see what is trending period and explore any particular topic segment that you are interested in and start writing about it. Always stick to topics that are relevant to your industry. I’ve written about this in previous articles about that I will definitely mention to you that one of the most overlooked sources for content is UGC, which stands for user-generated content. It’s basically free content from your customers or audience that you can create a new social media posts from.

There are a bunch of good ideas for content social media and marketing.

 

“I believe when you create contact 80% of it should be content that we think your audience will be interested in or that they can relate to. 20% of the postings will only be related to promoting any products or services that you have.”  With this strategy you can never go wrong.

You can use Social Media as a point of sale for brand awareness.  Branding, is the culture of you. Google, has up to billion lookups every month. You do not make money with Social Media, you make money with people who know, like & trust you. Find people who are looking for what you want to promote.  Provide content, don’t just be a commercial. YouTube is the #2 Search Engine in the World, who would of thought. Visual, is a huge part of retention in marketing. Remember the old saying “A picture is worth a thousand words” ?, Imagine what a video is?
Also, write an articles, perhaps on Ezine,  go to Squiddo, to get the word out there. Publish videos, chat,  add pictures. In addition, go ahead and set up Hubpages, to get cred and visibility in the Social Media Arena. All these things will help you increase familiarity, and when you are a perceived expert you can then go ahead and promote your product of service.  The aim of marketing is to know and understand the cutomer so well the product or service fits well and sells itself- Peter Drucker. Since you now have built trust in the marketplace, you can now say that you understand being Social. Remember, whether you market on Youtube,Twitter, FaceBook, Linkedin, etc. Take the time to build this trust since it will not be an overnight process. Trust is like a mirror,once its  broken you can never look at it the same way again.  Self trust is the first secret of success. In Germany, alone the average Twitter user is 32 yrs. old. YouTube has 51% of users who log on at least once a week. Email use is decreasing and Social is on the rise all over the World. Video content marketing will be approximately 55 % of all internet traffic by 2016, so you better get ready on this one. People out there are becoming increasingly influenced by video, so that immediately tells you that ROI is going to increase, that being said.

You need to uncover a different strategy online to help you meet your audience and where they are in that mindset. Do they need what you’re promoting? Are you catering to their needs? There is no magic formula and only practical engagement will lead you to success in having your brand succeed in Social Media.There are some important lessons that you need to consider about social media and also a few things on how to avoid some common mistakes that will keep your brand from succeeding on social media.

* Produce targeted content

Take a moment or two to really think about what you were trying to market for your attendance.  Think of several topics that you would like to post on. day in and day out on a regular basis and identify and begin to post content around a perceived interest that they may have. I want you to think about that for a second, because that is what something like Pinterest, which is a popular social media platform, is filled with literally meaningless boards run by brands themselves and advertising agencies and such if it was so simple, the brands themselves would do it. Remember, to only be in a promotion phase a 1/4 of the time. while the remainder of your time is trying to deliver something of value to the audience you want to connect with.

* Stop Bragging

I am seeing way too much of this. For one reason or another, some people that I am a fan of, simply cannot stop Tooting their own horn because they know that they are well known and the social media marketing arena. The bottom line, is unless you are determined in some shape or form toward looking to change somebody else’s mindset, by who you are in regards to your brand, don’t spend a lot of time on social media bragging about how wonderful your brand is. It will definitely be a turnoff for those who possibly be looking to do business with you.

* Be consistent in your marketing.

Without getting into the overkill market. You want to at least be regular enough with your audience to keep your brand name on their brain. Use a social media platform, that you are most fond of, to schedule any post that you like to put out there. If you want to schedule some posts than you will have to get a tool for doing so, that’s fine as well.

If you take a look at a high end brands such as a company like Tiffany and Co.,  they always are very consistent in their posts. The company uses a signature true blue color in all of its press releases, which is going to reinforce that brand identity, so keep that in mind when you are trying to promote your brand. What is it that people are going to anchor a thought to who you are in the market place. 

What 3 things do you want to focus on to bring the maximum ROI, while building your online presence?

* Engage with your audience.

Social media is all about people talking to people. The next time you post something out there, keep track of how much interaction you will receive from the content that you posted. It will help you identify what your next social media strategy might be. Don’t be in such a rush because this will take time to work out for your brand, have patience. Ross Hoffman, who is the senior director of Twitter’s global brand strategy team will tell you first hand, that engagement, is the key that could in turn further grow your audience. The most important thing is to never fall back in doing this, and show how much you care.

*Hashtag Overkill

Please, do not over do it here. You want to avoid that mistake of using it to describe every product or service that your offer and put a hash tag on it… 2 maybe 3 is the Max, that is more than sufficient. Eg. Assuming if you’re a Pizzeria #FreePizzaFriday, with every large pizza that you buy. this will give you an example on how to grab attention on something like Twitter.

* Blogging

Do You? Well you should, the SEO benefits will help you in the long run tremendously. Your social media branding strategies will be tied into your blog and performance overall. So if you generate timely, regular ongoing posts that will speak to your potential audience, that is going to make a huge difference in your brand awareness.

* Know where your audience hangs out.

If you are trying to reach a large female audience, well. Facebook is where you should be spending your time, over 60% of them hang out there. Twitter, is great for an instant response, however, the average person on there is approximately 30 years old and female as well. Over 80% of female audience, on Pinterest. If your product or service is more of a business to business type of marketing project, then LinkedIn would be a great choice for you.

* Build a solid relationship with alternative Social Media marketing strategies.

As I mentioned earlier, if you have a blog. Make sure that people could sign up to an email list and encourage any followers / visitors on social media to subscribe for maximum exposure.
Incorporate a good autoresponder, where you can plug in custom letters that you will write about your products / services to entice them to do business with you.

* Create an in-depth guide for your product or brand.

People really love How to type of stuff. So if you could provide an understandable way, that not only people will read it but keep on going back to it for further review, in whichever industry or product you were trying to promote… That can be a great engagement tool in your social media strategy.

Like everything else in life, social media marketing and branding strategies will vary from company to company. This is not an overnight thing in any shape or form. Make sure you have the patience to go through what it takes to become successful in building your brand and not feeling in your brand marketing efforts. have fun with it. After all if you’re not having fun you will never love what you are doing.

People want to hear tips that you can give them based on important things in their personal and business lives. Everyone on Twitter seems to be selling something and are sometimes less social. You have to determine where your audience is hanging out. Find out who are “Key Influencers” are in your target market. Do a search on Twitter, and follow them. Contact them, and share ideas and learn from what they do. When you post a tweet, remember to use Infographics, your tweet will have a 30 min. lifespan, unless it gets shared. On of the best suggestions I may give to you is, get used to creating video content that is related to your Social media audience   Give it a try and let loose on  Periscope, Blab, or wherever you might want to create content. On Facebook, 751 million mobile users every month reach out to use the service. On Twitter, it’s fastest growing age bracket is the  55-64 year of age, users  since 2012. Over 40 Million Photos are uploaded to Instagram every day. 67% of Google+ users are male. The more relevant your content is, the more it will have a chance to meet the eyes of your target audience. Post you Blog and brand info on a Blog or any popular outlet. 62% of marketers said that social media became more important to their marketing campaigns in the last six months alone. You do not make money in social media. You make money with people who like and gain trust in you. You market in Social Media to develop relationships with people who will know, like and trust you. Then and only then, will they buy from you. These things give you credibility, builds trust, and the will make you a perceived expert in what you are trying to market.

Social Media, is about people. Social Media, has even overtaken pornography as the #1 activity on the internet. The Online world is changing folks. 1 in 5 divorces are blamed on Facebook. If Facebook were a country,it would be the World’s 3rd largest. A new member joins Linkedin every second. Groupon, will reach $1 Billion in sales faster than any company in history. YouTube, is the 2nd Largest Search Engine in the world.  Over 4 billion hours of video are watched each month on YouTube.  If Wikipedia were a book,it would take 123 years to read it. 94% of marketers use Social Media to gain business. More than 350 million tweets are sent per day.

Babies in Egypt, have been named FaceBook. Get the picture? Approx. 200 Million people in the U.S.A use Facebook. One out of every seven minutes spent online is spent on Facebook  In 2012, Since 2012, 1.2 billion minutes have been spent using Pinterest on the Web.  Pinterest has the longest user engagement time, since it’s visual people stay on longer. 27% of people trust expert and 66% trust their friends. Well, make some NEW friends via Social Media.It took T.V. 13 years to reach 50 million viewers, FaceBook, added 200 million in about 1 year. There is a shift going on here in the electronic world, become part of it or you will become fuzz.

]]> brand urselfBranding Yourself Online. The basic idea of personal branding is to promote yourself as having certain values, skills or expertise — your brand — so that if someone needs that expertise, they’ll come to you first. So how do you go about creating your personal brand?
Remember, that there is heavy competition across all platforms, so have belief in your strengths and your core values.

Choosing the proper platforms-  Find out where your target audience that you want to reach hangs out.  Stats will change from time to time, however, you will get a feel to where to need to focus on.

Get Visual – Also as you take the time to practice and use some thought into what you want to convey to your audience. Also, if you have an Avatar-Color/Logo you want your audience to associate it with, please remain consistent with your branding strategy as you are branding yourself online.

Be Regular– Promote your message on a regular basis. Post value and not just ads, you do not want to turn folks off.

Develop a Story Telling Strategy–  People love to associate a “ME 2” feeling, and in turn will have that common feeling with your message. Get personal and perhaps talk about something non business related.

Improve your SEO–  Engaging visuals will help people stay on your posts longer, so get used to developing graphics within your posts.

In Social Media, your brand identity needs to be a clear message of who you are and what you have to offer. Be passionate about your subject matter. I have been a Success Coach for many years, and have have the honor of working with leaders such as the late Jim Rohn, Tony Robbins, and others. One key item is that you name your blog with your own name and your specialist area. Join in conversations about your subject on other blogs, always using your full name,your brand name if you will. Use a nice photo of yourself. The face you present to the world should be the face of trust and confidence.

People need to like you first. Get a professionally designed website and write articles (using Word Press if you can), and tell the world why you are different. Be sure your branding tells prospects why they should choose you. I chose to be mentored by someone who I met on Twitter, and she is simply amazing.  What will make you stick in the minds of potential customers? Think about this clearly and make you sure you have a focused and defined plan to engage potential clients to pick you to work with.

Let’s say you are an Auto Detailer. This positions you as somewhat of an authority figure in the reader’s eyes if you get a url for a Blog or website that says, LuxuryAutoDetailing.com. They gain some respect and buy-in with you as a person and want to find out more. An example for you branding yourself with success is in the cards now.
Remember, Create~Communicate~Maintain promoting yourself & brand regularly. If you don’t brand yourself first, someone else will brand you. Branding also gives you a sense of confidence and purpose.You must have a social network presence as part of your branding. At popular sites like Twitter, Facebook, and others, you get valuable exposure. So keep at it and do not stop.

Awesome Tips for Social Media Marketers.

There are many way to use different platforms in Social Media to build your business/brand. However, where does on start? I have some really smart friends, who are not really marketers so my goal is to help you get moving in the right direction. They say pictures are worth a thousand words, well imagine a video. Facebook Get a fan page and do not use your personal page to market your business. As you set up that page, Twitter can be included in the regular setting. Remember to post at 3 intervals of your day for any message you must want your prospects to see. If you have a product you are launching, ask people for their imput. You will then get an idea on maybe what they are looking for. wink…wink! If you can take a pic of an item, Download www.Instagram.com   on your cell phone and post it right up on FB. Make sure you put “ Call to Action” tab, on your page.

Create a FB Group. This will encourage fans, to express their particular views on your posts. This will help you build a brand image. If you want to promote an Event, then set one up via profiles/pages. For your profile page make sure you get a nice pic that will represent you. Perhaps create a Contest and the Winner can receive a product from you.

Remember, to ask your audience to click & like your posts. Schedule your posts typically when you plan on not being online. It’s a good time management tip. Enable your users to tag your FB page in their photos to help organically grow your page. Context, is the king in Social Media, so when you write material, the longer the better. A great tool to measure shares & content is Buzzsumo.

LinkedIn

One of the 1st things to consider is to “refresh” your profile every quarter. You can play around with adding new keyword phrases, and see how the visits jump up or down. If you get a decent number of views chances are these people may click on a Web Link (if you have one), to learn more about you and your brand. Don’t prejudge, people on LinkedIn, are of influence and professional, go connect with folks even outside of your niche. You never know who they may know. It’s all about networking and being social.

LinkedIn, is great because you can build your personal brand, as you perhaps answer peeps questions. The best tip I can share with you is to write content that people will find irresistible to share. Do it on regular basis so your name stays fresh on their mind. As you create your Content Marketing material, come up with a creative headline that will make them want to click on that link and read further.

Make sure you have Share buttons on your blog etc. So others can help share your material. An often overlooked and key marketing tip, is to comment on blogs of peeps in your niche.

Invite groups within your industry of interest, to connect with you. They allow you to join up to 50, go and join a few and keep participating and sharing solid content marketing tips.Also, go to the Notifications Tab to see who has been looking you over. You might want to knock on that door first. Link any social channels you have to generate referral traffic. Don’t forget they offer targeted advertising as well. I always make it a point to Endorse my connections Skills. They will in turn to reciprocate with you. Tag people with the “@” sign just like you do in Google +, Twitter. Last but not least use nice graphics if you can with your post to grab attention for your brand marketing.

 

Google Plus

First, make an Eye Catching Bio, to market your yourself. Get a great photo with a Link to any Blog/Website, that you may have. Including any Social Profiles as well. Promote the page and look to get a Google Badge.

Go to http://www.google.com/+/learnmore/platform-preview/ To learn more on going after that Target Audience.

Include photos about your product/service that will provide strong facts about what you are looking to promote. Put the word out there and engage with your audience.

Create a Hangout & Join some as well. Just Push the “Start a Hangout” button on the right side of your Google Profile. When making a post make sure you use to +Mari Smith Use the “+” sign in front of their name.. A mention, can get you shared as well. Remember, to always use cool looking photos on Goggle + too.

Create Circles: Send messages to a group of people. Make them feel special. People like to be a part of something-like an event. I always make my posts “Public”. You want that exposure. Key tip, is to comment of similar post niches, and share, and last but not least. Hit the + button!

Best a master of the # here too. When you post, include tags like #postoftheday, etc.

 

Instagram

The U.S.A, Brazil and Japan have the most users, however, this is becoming 1 HOT Spot to post pics and grab some Social Media attention fast. While I am not a Selfie person, it is very popular here. The most followed name is Instagram itself so, follow it. At the end of 2014, over 60 Billion photos were uploaded on there-WOW!

Some of the the most popular hashtags are #instagood #love, #beautiful, #cute, #me, #igers #tbt and there are others, which change from time to time.

Probably my BEST TIPS here are to add text and # to all posts. You can now do a short Vid on there as well. If you are not too shy-go for it. The demographic is on the younger side, but growing all the time. Don’t sell, tell a story. Post shot that tell it for you and your brand. Post the links to other networks if you can. I mainly just use the cell, but it is a solid tip to broaden your social media marketing.

http://ink361.com/   is a neat site that will help you Analyze your Social Media Impact and connect with brands and NEW followers. Now who would NOT want that?!?! I never worry about gaining influencer marketers here, after all that would be Justin Bieber who sits on the TOP Spot, and I am not a fan lol. Nothing personal, more of a Rocker here!

Connect your account to Facebook. This will alert others to follow you there as well. I make it a point to reciprocate as much as possible.

Ask for your followers thoughts and have them share their comments on your posts. Ask questions always, people love to give their opinion-sometimes ..lol. Geotag, your posts, if you want to get attention of someone in a target market. Last but not least, consider running a contest if you have a small business.

We live in this crazy new world of social media, and it’s not surprising that for people that spend 3 + hours a day on line on social media network activities, you need some tips on using this exciting platform.

Twitter, is no slouch in the Social Media Arena.. There are approximately 284 million active Twitter uses around the globe. 46% of Twitter users use Twitter at least 1 time a day. In the United States alone there are approximately 53 million people that use Twitter.

So that being said, Twitter is considered one of the monsters a social media and it should be taken very seriously. So what I’m going to do is give you some tips on how to be a better user for social marketing on Twitter.

First, one thing you gotta’ realize is that we are limited to a little mini, 140 character space to make a post. That’s not that much, and some people are intimidated by it. Here are some of the best recommendations, I could give you right off the bat.

Basically, it is a Social Analytics tool to help to marketing yourself better with Twitter. It let’s you decide and figure out, who you want to unfollow & follow on Twitter. This neat site gather’s up all the profile info it can on it’s users, and creates a profile to for them based on different criteria such as: major followers for them, patterns of their postings, pics, when you checked in on Twitter to name a few items.

When you search on top of Twtrland, you will see how many tweets you had per day, and it will show you stats on each set of 100 tweets. One neat feature I like is with ones profile you can find out cool things, such as: How many Twitter influencers are tweeting from a certain geographic area. I area that I think is important for you to know is that, you can see who might be following you and your business- if you have one. This 3rd Party Tool will help you analyze who you would like to follow based on their fancy profile that is displayed. Getting your tweets broken into groups is helpful sue to see who is tweeting you, engaging in convos, and more. Just remember to manually refresh the account on a regular basis.

If you are a Marketer, Twitter offers organic analytics to verified users, where you can now track your overall daily impressions. Seeing what is going on with your tweets, based on the time that you have posted them, is important, so you know when and where you need to focus your marketing efforts.

A neat thing to do on Twitter is to create List of a Topic in your niche, and add other people to it. You can choose to have it go Public or Private. Just remember to notify those who you have added to the list.

Use Tools like Hootsuite and BufferApp to keep you and your conversations flowing.

Host a #TwitterChat

Before I get into some neat Twitter Tips, I just want to help you get started the beginning Use a nice photo of yourself as your avatar, when setting up your Twitter account. That’s the first impression people will get of you, so be selective, and choose the key words that people you want to meet will type on the top right hand side search bar. If you are a Blogger, or if you’re a model whatever it is, just make sure you put those tagged words in there so
people could find you.
If you have a blog, website you want to link that URL to your bio. I know one of the things that people like to do on Twitter is ultimate tweets, I’m not a huge fan of that. I know time management sometimes is crucial but you know people will know when you’re automating something, and you’re not doing it live. So you might miss out on a great convo.

 

I really want you to think about what your mission is when using Twitter? Some people just get on there just to kill time and that’s fine, if that’s what you want to do great. Other people get on there to build a brand for themselves or maybe to help I generate leads to their cell phone and so forth. So when you decide what you want to do, outline your purpose and decide on who to follow as well, and then that’ll help you create the type of the information that you want to share on Twitter.

 

I always seek to provide a valuable tweet for people on Twitter, & I think you should do the same. You should use proper etiquette, and find a happy balance between business & something fun, something you saw that is interesting, such as a news post you just read. Post it on Twitter, make them know you’re alive- that you’re a human being, and that you are not automating your posts. When you find that people that are interested in some of the things that you are into, just make a point of trying to follow each other.
*ReTweets, are big in Twitter. Always make sure that you leave a little extra space to get ReTweeted.

* Let me tell you about, Follow Friday, Twitter hashtag #FF , put the @ sign and people’s names, like @ CarlRamallo @Joe_Smith @MaryJones…get the idea?  If you want to put something fun on a Friday post for people & get them some movement for you on twitter.

* Hashtags # generally helps organize information and makes your tweets a little more search friendly, so you could use comment search hashtags, to see what people are talking about on any particular day. One thing that I was find fascinating is that about a 1/4 of all the information on Twitter posts, have been linked to another piece of social content, so I know whether it’s a video or story like I mentioned earlier, so take that into consideration when you’re making some of your posts.

*If you have a product or service? Leaving a tip when sharing valuable information for folks, is a great idea. It will not go unnoticed. And they will appreciate it very much. I believe so many people do not consider this, so I usually send out one tweet that I really want to get noticed in the morning, once the mid afternoon and once in the evening The main reason is because you want to cover people from different parts of the world and get that readership in.

*I found some of the very best conversations that I’ve engaged with online on Twitter came from people that I had a few thousand followers or less. Because they’re anxious to connect with somebody, and if you’re looking to get a heavy influencer on Twitter that has a Klout score of 80 +, chances are they might not have too much time to engage with you. Everybody is seeking attention from them. Check out https://klout.com

If you are more serious on twitter analytics www.Klout.com helps measure your online influence in the Social Media arena. It is a nice tool that is free, and you can schedule content, and measure your twitter performance. An awesome tool for Social Media Marketers.

So being that you got about a half a million tweets out there sent today, go get moving. By the way, a lot of those accounts are generally outside of the United States, and over 75 % of all Twitter users are using their mobile phone- so tweet away have fun in until next time.

]]> organic trafficHow to get more website traffic.  This is one of the main questions I get all the time on Social Media.  Learning how to get more website traffic is key to the lifeblood of your business, right? There are many ways to improve website traffic, especially organic traffic, so here are a few things to get started.

* Seo, can be very expensive, so what you would want to do, is leverage a longer title that will drive extra traffic, using long tail keywords. By the way, try not to use more than three long term keywords.

To give an example for something like: * Social Media Strategies
* Your New keyword idea, maybe something like: social media marketing strategies…. strategic social media or  social media marketing facebook

As a matter of fact, By using Google’s Keyword Planner, you may find better ways to find traffic, because you are not competing with some keyword (s) that is so high on the monthly search stat, that you will rank better & have your post seen by more people. Work your way up there. If you decide to do it in a regional market you could even start to develop a nice client base for yourself. If you combine how you SEO terms / keywords on your website you can literally double your traffic. Just log into your Google Keyword Planner and click on search traffic and then search queries, and try to mix some terms. You will benefit by the traffic generated via using a mix of keyword terms.
I suggest to use these keywords when you were writing material for an article on a blog or your website, because you have to consistently create the specific content that is good have basically match with the searchers query, as they are typing in “How to drive traffic to your site… in a Google search box. So go ahead and play around with the Medium based traffic ideas. Remember, almost half of any search results usually end up on page 1 of the Google’s of the world.

*If you want to expand your options, perhaps not utilize Google’s webmaster tools, then check out: www.Keywordtool.io

This is probably the best alternative to Google itself.

And see who is visiting your website and why this day and/or leaves.

This site will help you use organically, words with your existing traffic to get optimized  results.

*Another key idea is to link up with other leaders that is similar to your niche market, and perhaps do a podcast or even start a forum. YouTube, drives the most engaged traffic on the social media platforms . I highly suggest if you are comfortable with shooting videos to link your website and anything else that you do in the description of that video that you post up on YouTube. The key is in any social media channel, is to engage with the people that are getting in touch with you. Make sure that you promote your content on your Twitter account by auto publishing your videos on YouTube. Just go to your channel settings to do so.

*Bookmark your Content:
This is indeed a great way to gain solid free traffic to your website. Check out sites like: www.Reddit.com or perhaps www.Digg.com

I cannot stress enough the importance of engaging with anyone you coming to contact on any social media channel out there. It is imperative that you mingle. Let them know the warmth in your personality. Have some fun with them. Use something like, www.Quickmeme.com. and create a funny little caption then post it to something like Twitter perhaps.

I always think it is good to have a blog in addition to a website. You should always write topics that cover trending topics within your niche field. It’s not a bad idea as well to put your ego aside and to be a guest contributor on another blog or website that is similar to what you’re doing. Creating back links to your website is a great thing that will help you increase traffic.

A really neat thing that you could use to start over the local audience and then help expand nationwide and ultimately globally. Go to www.Meetup.com  It’s a great way to network and find people that are relevant to what you were doing in your local area. To expand on a global scale perhaps you might want to visit:

*  Something NEW in your business? Product,Service or Event? Check out: www.PRWeb.com

* Build a YouTube Channel, link it to your site. Put all links in description box & any tags you want to be picked up on via searches, by using Long term keywords. Long-tail keywords account for a majority of web searches, because this will increase web traffic. Put your URL on a text page at the end of your video, using the Video Manager/annotations option.Promote videos on all Social Media Platforms. By 2017, over 75% + of all Traffic will be driven by video.

* Join a Group on Linkedin. https://help.linkedin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/186/~/finding-and-joining-a-group

* Guest blogging for other popular blogs will bring a nice spike of traffic on your site/blog.

]]> SMBrandingSocial Media Branding and YOU. Who are you in the real world and how will you reflect yourself in your marketing efforts? This is a question you should ask yourself. How can you stand out and make a difference? Branding, is a story of who you are and the influence that you gain from the relationships you have with people. You must tailor yourself to any audience you want to attract and keep true to your online personality.

 

*Who is your target audience?

*How can you bring value to them?

*How do you want them to remember you?

People want to engage with people they like and in turn once they trust you,  they will want to buy and have dealings with you.  Constantly manage and update your content in your blogs.

You want to be someone who people want to listen to. The best brand story is the one that is left untold. Learn to open up a conversation and engage them in something that is useful and of value to them. You need to have the ability to tell a story about YOU.  Being a student of Tony Robbins,  I will tell you that you must have a lot of passion and have persistence in your social media branding strategies.  What is your Passion? Figure out what is your purpose? Figure out what defines you, because if you do not someone is going to do it for you. If you are going to choose a brand to market, make sure it is something that you can sink your teeth into and feel the love an where you want to go with it.

Try to use the same handle across all social media platforms as you develop your branding. It will make it very easy for your audience to identify with you.

Do 1 thing real real well. Be the best in your niche. Learn everything you can about what you are about to market, and don’t worry it will take you some time. Don’t tell people what you want to be, be humble and just do it. Not to long ago, I was in Vegas and it just hit me- BAMMM. Everything there is “Brand” City. Look at the hotels and that alone will tell you where you are in the world of branding. If you are at the New York Hotel  there, they have the best of NYC and what it has to offer in a little over 2.4 million square feet. They have the Coyote Ugly Bar, The famous Southern-style saloon with sexy drink-slinging, bar-dancing cuties.  You must meet expectations.

You must have the same experience as a past experience that you have had before. I went to Hawaii in 2010 and noticed that all the chains like Subway were there and people were going in there from the Ship that I was on and I wondered why? Why? Because they know what they are going to get. Ugh, why waste your time, instead of trying a local funky Sub Shop? You want to build an expectation on what you are trying to brand.  They had Dunkin out there,however, I opted for the Aloha Surf Local spot that had alot of Hawaiian flair and “pop” to their store- it was fun, the vibe was there.

Find what makes you stand out in the crowd. When you think of safe cars, what do you think of? I thought of Volvo. I remember those commercials when they would launch the car off a cliff and the mid of the vehicle was literally intact.

So think about some of these above items when you are trying to market and develop your brand. Who do you know who can help you reach your goals and expand your professional network. You should also think of connecting your contacts to gain a mutually beneficial relationship online and off.Lastly, buy your own domain names -NOW.  Whatever your name is…get it. Till next time.
